Team Hansraj has proved Vince Lombardi’s words true as its combined effort has achieved the distinction of receiving the ‘International School Award’, conferred by the British Council.
The ISA Team of the School comprised of Ms. Monika Malhotra and Ms. Poonam Lalla as the Coordinators and Ms. Aloe Mukherjee, Ms. Arti Bhasin, Ms. Arti Goel, Ms. Harsheet Kaur, Ms. Pooja Maurya, Ms. Ruchika Bole, Ms. Seema Arora, Ms. Sunita Bhalla, Ms. Swati Puri and Mr. Pawan Khurana undertook the task of coordinating and collaborating not only with the different departments of the School, but also with the Coordinators of the partner schools outside the country, such as Sri Lanka and Egypt.
ISA provided a framework to the School to develop an action plan and to implement certain international activities throughout the year, and encouraged school to collaborate with overseas schools to create a rich learning experience for students through the use of ICT, creative pedagogical practices and real context for learning. The Team as evidence submitted a 500-page Dossier to the British Council for accreditation and the school has been successfully awarded with the British Council International School Award for the period 2016-19.
The journey has been a great learning experience for the entire Team of Hansraj Model School and its students who have now, become Global Citizens.
The entire endeavor was undertaken under the careful supervision and farsightedness of the School Principal, Ms. Heemal Handoo Bhat, who kept motivating and guiding everybody throughout the ISA expedition.
