‘MICROSOFT SCHOOL (2016-17)’ Back to Achievement Page

The year 2016 is being celebrated as the ‘Golden Jubilee Year’ of Hansraj Model School and has been gifting several reasons to the School o celebrate and rejoice. After winning several prestigious awards and recognitions, the School has now attained the position of a ‘Microsoft School’ for the year 2016-17.

The journey of Microsoft School Program was taken in the month of June, under the able guidance of the School Leader and a technophile, Ms. Heemal Handoo Bhat and was carefully undertaken by Ms. Jasmine Kaur Sharma and Ms. Pradeep Kaur. The Team took the initiative of applying for the Program and successfully completed the mandatory tasks. The efforts of the Team yielded good results as the School received its ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ by Ms. Meenakshi Uberoi from De Pedagogics (Microsoft Preferred Partner), in the month of August.

Carrying the endeavour further, the School’s Core Microsoft Team of Ms. Pradeep Kaur (Microsoft Innovative Expert) and Ms. Jasmine Kaur Sharma, accompanied by Ms. Sangita Panchal (Technical Head) and Ms. Sunita Bhalla (Assistant Technical Head) attended a Workshop on September 6, 2016 at DPS International School, Gurgaon.

Another noteworthy accomplishment regarding this Program was the enthusiastic participation shown by the School’s Teaching and Non-Teaching staff members who completed the pre-requisite Microsoft Courses, before the deadline. The School’s commitment to embrace technology to transform education and improve learning outcomes for the students was identified by Mr. Anthony Saltico (Vice President, Microsoft in Education) and Eve Psalti (Director, Microsoft in Education), and the School became a part of a community of more than 850 global education leaders.
