SPORTS_INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

Education these days, has moved beyond its foundational elements of knowledge and skills and of grades and marks. Academic distinction is undoubtedly central to the life of any educational institution, but excellence in sports and other co-curricular activities is equally important to ensure an overall growth of a child.

Sports not only enables the students to maintain their physical stamina, but also instils in them the values like critical thinking, discipline, leadership, honesty, humility, respect for others, self-confidence, team work, the determination to win and the spirit to accept failure. The choices of the students on the field under pressure, leads to shaping their future as responsible citizens of the society and nation at large.

Hansraj Model School acknowledges that games and sports play a pivotal role in the development of a student and therefore, aims at providing the best facilities to its students not only on the academic front, but also in sports.

The school is home to outstanding sports facilities, supervised by a team of dedicated Physical Education instructors and coaches, who all are enthusiastically devoted to backing aspiring sports persons to enable them to bring laurels not only to the school, but also to the country.
