With the holistic learning being seen as the ‘real’ education, the School has adopted the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), as per the CBSE norms. The cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills of the students, recognized as the vital aspects in learning, have evaded the Exam- oriented Education System.
PRE-SCHOOL TO CLASS II
The Evaluation System is devised to develop a regular, systematic and methodical learning among the students, through play way methods. The Assessment of each child is based on his/her Cumulative Record of the year’s work, which includes assessment of the child’s work on daily basis in the classroom throughout the year.
The Assessment Report of the students is sent to their parents thrice a year:

As per the directions of the CBSE, the School has adopted the Grading System, to enable the students and teachers to identify the area of special interest of a student and to employ the suitable remedial measures for enhancing the learning performance.
The Scholastic Evaluation is done with the help of Formative and Summative Assessments. The Formative Assessments are carried throughout the year by the teacher (formally and informally) and comprises of the Class Assignments, Home Assignments, Oral Tests, Observations, Projects, Presentations, Short Written Tests etc.
The Academic Year for Classes VI to X has been divided into two terms- April to September and October to March. Both the terms have two Formative Assessments and one Summative Assessment each.
Two cycles of Unit tests, a Half Yearly Examination and an Annual Examination are conducted for the students of Classes XI and XII. For Class XII, the Pre-Board Examination is held in place of the Annual Examination.
The conventional Numerical Marking is converted into Grades. The students must obtain the minimum D Grade in all the subjects under the Scholastic and Co-scholastic domains.
